Who is R Buckminster Fuller?

Fuller traveled prodigiously circumnavigating the globe over forty times.

He was a friend of world political leaders such as Indira Gandhi, scientists such as Einstein and industrialists like Henry Ford.

Several months before his death in 1983 he was awarded the Freedom Medal of the United States for his service to humanity. He studied the Universe and applied what he saw to his daily work ... his role, as is the  role fo all human beings that of "a local information gatherer and problem solver".
