Buckminster Fuller knew it would take a "Design Revolution" to make available the ABUNDANCE that our beautiful planet Earth is providing us with, in a totally regenerative Universe.

There is no 'scarcity' ... we have had the capacity, the 'know-how' to provide for everyone at a high standard of living for over 30 years now.

All that has been lacking is a STRUCTURE and the willingness.

In addition to advertising, promoting and encouraging healthy sustainable trade, Your Healthy Planet.com is setting up an educational body called The Sustainable Childrens Foundation (SCF) into which all profits from Your Healthy Planet.com will be directed.

The SCF will have the capacity to receive grant moneys and donations and will be the owner of a series of "Living Learning Centers or Institutes". We hope to be starting with our first one in the Tweed Valley area and within a 60minute commute from the Gold Coast Airport.

Who is 'Bucky' and who are we?

Your Healthy Planet.com is a not-for-profit corporation set up to help transform what we currently refer to as 'business' and even 'community', and to re-introduce values such as fun, family, health, freedom, community, integrity, love, respect and abundance back into our lives today. It comprises a free members club, and low cost co-operative advertising directory.

The current 'economic system' is based largely on "misinformation and out dated thinking". It struggles to see it's way clear because of  all the rules and regulations set up to protect us; but are actually suffocating the majority of hard working human beings.

Your Healthy Planet.com is based largely on the philosophies and teachings of a man who fondly became known as 'Bucky'.

R Buckminster Fuller, is now spoken of in the same breath as Einstein, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison and the like.

He believed that ... "Workers in the modern age are nothing more than slaves, with all the profits of their labour being directed to a small handful of greedy individuals."

In the 1970'S Fuller he said ... "We now have the know-how, and the resources to feed, cloth and shelter every human being on our beautiful small planet, and to do so at a higher standard of living than anyone has ever known".

He also said, “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To  change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

Your Healthy Planet.com is providing a new economic model, context or structure designed to reorient our FOCUS from simply 'making money' (at all cost) to 'making sense' (for all human beings, without disadvantage to anyone).

Individuals, businesses and organisations will see Your Healthy Planet.com as an organisation they want to be a part of and become a stakeholder in.

Founders of Your Healthy Planet.com ...

In October 1999 Helen and Alex Sprunt left the Melbourne Treasury offices and headed north on a 2000km walk to Brisbane in the south-east corner of Queensland.  Thirty days later they finished the marathon walk at the 'Old Treasury Buildings', now operating as the Brisbane Casino. The walk was to highlight the need to take action on improving health and sustainability, and focusing more attention on all the fantastic products and services that make a positive difference to health and sustainability.

It was their first attempt to put together a directory of healthy green businesses, clubs and organisations, but it did not succeed mainly because they were tackling a big task on their own. Like many small businesses, individuals and sole traders around the globe Helen and Alex operate in a competitive marketplace; in a marketplace that sometimes appears to be designed to make life 'hard' ... due to its out-dated context of sarcity. Having left a career in risk engineering, Alex understood the potential returns that are available by taking preventative actions to protect assets. including your personal health and your potential as a human being. There was no commercial incentive for individuals to pursue healthy sustainable lifestyles in the 1990's and many businesses remained focused on pure profit ahead of personal and community health, and environmental sustainability. As we know the cumulative results have been disastrous. Helen is an environmentalist and Rudolf Steiner trained primary teacher who is focused on holistic health and protecting cultures, the environment and tradition. Her passion for children provided the seed for our Sustainable Children's Foundation which is the non-profit Foundation that will own our Living Institutes, as well as support other non-profit organisations that empower young people to deal with the ever changing environment they were born into.
